Grazing
When grazing a standard ryegrass, livestock use only about 20% of protein from the forage for production - and the rest is degraded to rumen ammonia and wasted in faeces and urine. This is not only financially costly, but also detrimental to the environment.Feed Quality
AberGain HSG has outstanding season-long performance, with the highest summer and autumn grazing yield of any late-maturing perennial ryegrass, and the highest spring grazing yield of any late tetraploid. Its combination of dry matter yield and herbage quality means AberGain out-performs all other varieties for ME yield, whether under grazing or conservation management.
